Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah on Sunday reached a unique milestone in English football as the Egyptian netted twice in Liverpool’s 3-0 win to Brentford in the Premier League. With that, Salah entered the history books to join Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer to score or assist in 15 league home games on the trot.
He achieved the landmark in Liverpool vs Brentford game on Sunday.
The Egyptian provided Liverpool with the upper hand in the Premier League fixture, scoring a brace. He has now scored 200 goals for English clubs, with 198 for Liverpool and the other two for his former club Chelsea.
Salah has also continued his remarkable run of goalscoring form at Anfield, where he has scored in 14 of the last 15 league game. He has now scored 17 goals in all competitions this season.
Another feather in Salah’s cap
He also joined Thierry Henry of Arsenal and Alan Shearer of Newcastle United as the only players to score or assist in 15 Premier League home games in a row.

With a total of 14 goals and assists so far, Salah currently has the most combined GA in the English Premier League this season.
The third goal was scored by Diogo Jota to complete a comfortable win for the hosts, who are now level on points with Manchester City until the latter’s clash with Chelsea on Sunday.
After Joel Matip recovered the ball for Liverpool, Salah scored his first goal of the season in the 39th minute, taking a lay-off from Darwin Nunez and slotting the ball into the bottom-left corner.
Just after an hour into the match, he scored his second with a simple headed goal into an open net. In his first full season, Salah scored 44 goals in all competitions, and he has since gone on to score at least 30 goals in three different seasons.
