Ahead of their final Cricket World Cup league match against the Netherlands (IND vs NED) on Sunday, India Cricket Team including the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav celebrated Diwali on November 11. India Cricket Team captain, Rohit Sharma shared a pic looking dapper in a classy kurta alongside wife Ritika Sajdeh, who looked gorgeous in traditional attire.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also shared a video of the team celebrating the joyous festival ahead of the Netherlands clash.
Earlier, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had a special 3D projection on the historical Gateway of India in Mumbai on Friday to mark the beginning of Diwali and celebrate the Cricket World Cup. A two-minute projection, with a display of light and sound, showcased some of the finest and greatest moments from the ongoing Cricket World Cup on the landmark. The slogan for the 2023 Cricket World Cup – “It Takes One Day” – was also highlighted in the projection.
Apart from skipper Rohit Sharma, India Cricket Team stars like Mohammad Shami and Suryakumar Yadav also celebrated the festival of lights. Shami wore a traditional kurta as he captioned his post ‘Happy & prosperous Diwali’. SKY also uploaded a pic with his wife Devisha as the couple were all smiles in the pic.

Rohit Sharma and Co. have won all their matches in the marquee event as they have reached Bengaluru to participate in the upcoming IND vs NED World Cup match. India Cricket Team will be looking to brush aside the meek-looking Dutch side and enter the WC semi-finals with a bang.
