Virat Kohli, arguably the most famous cricketer of all time, continues to put cricket on the map. The star batter, who recently levelled the great Sachin Tendulkar’s record for scoring the most ODI centuries, has featured in the list of the top 10 greatest athletes of all time in the history of sports. The Indian superstar is the only cricketer on the list and features alongside athletes like Muhammad Ali, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mike Tyson, Usain Bolt, and Serena Williams.
The list, which was released by Pubity Sports, saw cricket great ranked at the 5th spot. The shocking thing was that Virat Kohli was placed ahead of the GOATs (the greatest of all time) of their respective sports.
Kohli outshined Usain Bolt (the fastest man on earth), Mike Tyson (arguably the best heavyweight boxer of all time), LeBron James (one of the most accomplished basketball players), Serena Williams (the most successful tennis player of the Open Era), and Michael Phelps (the most successful Olympic athlete of all time).
