Bengaluru Weather Report: Rain to ruin NZ vs SL World Cup match at Chinnaswamy

Bengaluru weather is set to play spoilsport in the NZ vs SL World Cup clash tomorrow as it did during the NZ vs PAK clash

All eyes will be on the Bengaluru weather as New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka in the ongoing World Cup clash tomorrow. The Kiwis are desperate for a win and go through the semis. While the Lankans, who are battered and bruised will be aiming to end their World Cup campaign on a positive note. Also, the Kusal Mendis-led side will be aiming to directly qualify for the Champions Trophy by finishing among the top eight teams in the points table.

With the stakes so high, both teams would be hoping the rain does not play any spoilsport as it did a few days back when PAK vs NZ clash happened. The equation is pretty simple for New Zealand – Win the match and play India in the first semi-final on Wednesday (November 15). The Kiwis are placed fourth on the points table and have also the best net run rate among Afghanistan and Pakistan.

A win for the Kane Williamson-led side would be enough, while a win for the Lankans will bring them one step closer to Champions Trophy place, provided the Benglaru weather lasts 100 overs without rain interruptions.
