Real Madrid are said to be planning a ‘Plan B’ deal if they fail to get Kylian Mbappe next summer. This comes after the club issued a statement about Mbappe. Their statement denied that they are in talks to sign the Paris Saint-Germain star when his contract expires.

Real Madrid keeping Kylian Mbappe options open
Kylian Mbappe, 24, has been a long-term goal for Real Madrid and was on the verge of joining them in 2022. The French World Cup winner eventually agreed to a multi-year contract extension with PSG. However, Mbappe’s contract expires next summer, and he has suggested that he is finally ready to leave Paris as a free agent.
According to reports, Real Madrid are already in advanced talks to recruit Mbappe in the summer of 2024. However, they issued a statement yesterday denying any communication.
Their statement said, ‘Given the information recently issued and published by different media outlets, in which there is speculation about alleged negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappe and our club. “Real Madrid CF would like to state that this information is completely false and that no such negotiations have taken place with a player who belongs to PSG.’
Kylian Mbappe is expected to receive multiple offers next summer. Liverpool are also allegedly interested in signing him. According to Sport Bild, Real Madrid is preparing a backup attacking target in case they fall out.
Real Madrid’s, Carlo Ancelotti is said to be a big fan of Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala. The former Chelsea academy star, 20, is contracted to his German club until 2026.
However, he has yet to sign a new deal. Musiala is now paid £7 million per year, but he wants three times that to stay at the Allianz Arena. However, Bayern Munich is likely to demand a high fee for a player who will be 21 years old next summer.
Man City could battle Los Blancos for Musiala
Jamal Musiala of Bayern Munich is someone Pep Guardiola “wants” to join Manchester City. Sport Bild chief Christian Falk claims that the 20-year-old German wonderkid is the target of the five-time Premier League winning manager.
Guardiola wants Manchester City to try and recruit Musiala, 20, despite reports that his contract negotiations with Bayern have stopped over the last few weeks, according to AZ. The City manager is also considering the future, and he believes Musiala is a strong contender to succeed an aging and, as of late, injury-prone De Bruyne.

Pep Guardiola might be looking to ensure that the huge De Bruyne void is filled. Musiala would be the perfect fit for Manchester City. Bayern would be looking at fee of over 100 million for the youngster. All the clubs in Europe and EPL would be hoping that Man City don’t sign the midfielder. Another great signing for the Blues could end up monopolizing the Premier League and UCL too.
