WATCH – Aussie player describes why she’s scared of Harmanpreet Kaur during WBBL game

Harmanpreet Kaur and Sophie Devine were involved in an on-field tiff during WBBL match, and Beth Mooney had hilarious take on it.

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is known for her hot temper on the field, and on Friday, she was involved in a verbal spat with New Zealand all-rounder Sophie Devine, during a Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) match between Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers. The incident occurred during the first innings of the match when Devine went on to bowl at Harmanpreet when the latter was not ready.

That started an argument of sorts between the two players, and eventually, the umpire had to intervene. The umpires did call it a no-ball, and Devine had to bowl the delivery again. In all this, the best moment came when Beth Mooney, Scorchers’ keeper described the incident to the commentators.

Asked, who would win the argument between the two, Mooney said, ‘Harmanpreet scares me a bit’.

Harman scored 52 for her side, well supported by Georgia Wareham, who made 44 runs. Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine scored fifties to take their side home with 16 balls to spare.
