WATCH: Mohammad Rizwan asks batter’s advice on DRS call, leaves Netizen in splits

The funny incident during PAK vs BAN World Cup match left fans and commentators in split.

Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammed Rizwan left the commentators and fans in split after he was spotted asking the Bangladesh batter if the ball hits his bat first or pad while taking a call on Decision Review System (DRS). The incident happened during the PAK vs BAN Cricket World Cup match on Tuesday Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.

In the 43rd over of the Bangladesh innings, pacer Taskin Ahmed was hit on the pads and Pakistan bowler Shaheen Afridi along with other close-in fielders made a LBW appeal, which was turned down by the on-field umpire.

As skipper Babar Azam was discussing with the side on whether to take the DRS or not, Rizwan was spotted asking Taskin if the ball hit his bat. Rizwan
later revealed that Taskin told him that the ball hit his pads. However, Pakistan still didn’t take the review.
