Team India under the leadership of skipper Rohit Sharma completed yet another win in the World Cup. The Men in Blue were clinical in the IND vs ENG World Cup match in Lucknow. Chasing 230 to win, England were bundled out for just 129 runs giving a win to Rohit Sharma and Co. by 100 runs. Meanwhile, the fans on social media were overjoyed as the home side completed their sixth consecutive win in the World Cup.

“Yeah. Looking at where we were, after 10 overs, it was important to create that partnership. Myself and KL had that partnership. The wicket was challenging at the start but it got better as the game progressed,” said Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.
Obviously, I have got the experience to bat according to the situation. When you have that experience, you do what the team needs. It was important for me to take the game deep. I feel we still were 30-40 runs short but happy with the performance of the bowlers,” he added.
“Yeah. Very disappointed. At the halfway stage, we fancied ourselves to chase it but it was same old story. The gut feeling was we wanted to chase, whether dew came or not. Our bowling has been great but again the batting was disappointing,” said England captain Jos Buttler.
Meanwhile, team India will next face Sri Lanka in their World Cup encounter. The IND vs SL match is set to be played at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match will be played on November 2 (Thursday).
