PKL: Mohammadreza Shadloui adds firepower to Puneri Paltan squad in PKL

The Pro Kabaddi Season 10 will begin on December 2, and all eyes will be on Puneri Paltan's Mohammadreza Shadloui.

Puneri Paltan, over the years, has been a force to reckon with in the Pro Kabaddi League. Seasons 5 and nine were particularly good for them, where they managed to reach the finals. This season, after the PKL auction, they have a particularly good chance of winning the title too, getting some high-class players in their roster.

At the PKL auction, what really made the difference was Puneri Paltan bagging Iran star all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui, who has been one of the most successful players of the Pro Kabaddi in the last couple of years.

It must be acknowledged, that the Paltan did not have the best of starts to the league as they finished last, twice, upon the start of the tournament. But since then, it has been a complete turnaround for them, having made the playoffs on six occasions.

The team looked pretty clear on the decision to back the youngsters and did not retain any of the senior pros. Aslam Inamdar, and Mohit Goyat, though young, are stars in their own right. Inamdar was even part of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the Asian Games.
