Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli & current captain Rohit Sharma had a bit of argument during a high-intensity India vs New Zealand clash in World Cup. The Indian side were under the pump as Daryl Mitchell was taking the game away from the Indian side. Both Rohit and Kohli were seen having an intense conversation on field. However, the Men in Blue completed a good chase against the Kiwis and ended their losing streak against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, a video of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is going viral on the social media platforms where both Kohli & Rohit are captured travelling in a same car.
He has done this for us for many years: Rohit Sharma on Kohli
“At one stage, we were looking at 300 plus. Credit to our bowlers at the back end. I am enjoying my batting. Both are different personalities, but we (Him and Gill) compliment each other. Happy that we won. Nothing much to say. He (Kohli) has done this for us so many years. He backed himself to do the job. Kohli and Jadeja pulled us back when we lost a few wickets in the middle,” Rohit Sharma said after their win against New Zealand.
Team India has now won 5 out 5 games in the World Cup as they are rightly sitting at the top of the points table. Rohit Sharma and Co. are slated to play their next match against the defending champions England in Lucknow. On the other hand, the Three Lions have failed to get going in the tournament so far and they will have their task cut out against an in-form Indian side.
