After three dropped catches by Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah, Indian cricket team fans have started to mercilessly troll their own team for their poor fielding performance. The three catches were dropped during the first innings of the IND vs NZ in the 21st match of the ODI World Cup 2023.
India’s fielding coach, T. Dilip, has taken the initiative of giving a medal after each to the best fielder of the match. However, after their abysmal display, fans have started to take a dig at the medal ceremony.

Iyer and Gill make up for dropped catches
While Team India dropped three catches, Shreyas Iyer and Gill made sure India didn’t fall too far behind the game.
Iyer snatched a great low catch to dismiss Devon Conway in the powerplay. Meanwhile, Gill completed a comfortable catch at long off to dismiss Rachin Ravindra. Ravindra had previously been dropped by Jadeja and Bumrah, but he went on to make 75 runs.
