WATCH: Afghanistan fielders drop 7 catches in NZ vs AFG World Cup match in Chennai

Afghanistan fielders were poor in the field during NZ vs AFG World Cup match being played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Afghanistan fielders had a tough day at the office as they dropped as many as seven (two half-chances) catches in the NZ vs AFG World Cup match being played in Chennai on Wednesday. The likes of Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Glenn Phillips and skipper Tom Latham got reprieves.

On the other hand, Afghanistan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi dropped two easy catches. The likes of Rahmat Shah and Mujeeb ur Rahman also dropped regulation catches. Rashid Khan was close to grabbing a stunner as he ran towards the long-off boundary but couldn’t catch the ball as Phillips got a reprieve.
