Canelo Alvarez shuts down Conor McGregor and his bold claims
Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor is famous for having a big mouth. And the Irishman quoted a post about Floyd Mayweather’s performance against Canelo Alvarez gave his thoughts. He said, “One of the greatest performances in Professional Boxing this was. I landed more shots on Floyd than Canelo. I’d love another go.”
Thus, this comment showed how highly the Irishman rated Mayweather’s performance. However, it was also a sly dig at Alvarez with his second comment. And this did not go down well with the Mexican.
Alvarez then quoted McGregor’s post and said, “I just need one hand with you and I don’t need to throw so many punches 🤣” . Thus, ridiculing the Irishman and his boxing skills.

Therefore, a potential Canelo vs McGregor fight would send the combat sports world into a frenzy.
