Pakistan Cricket team eye comeback against Australia, as the race of semis gathers steam

Although the semi-final of the World Cup will begin on November 12, teams will be keeping a close eye on the net run rate. Already big teams like South Africa, India, and New Zealand have made their intentions clear about winning by big margins. Teams do not want the net run rate to come into the equation while qualifying for the semi-final.

Currently, Pakistan and Australia have a negative net rate. Pakistan are placed fourth on the points table, while Australia are placed eighth on the points table. Both teams have played three games. With only six matches left for both sides, they will be eyeing big wins. For Australia, Travis Head will be fit for the clash against Pakistan.

The southpaw who suffered a fracture in his finger has recovered from the blow and will likely feature against Pakistan on Friday.
