Rohit Sharma likes to listen to his players: Suresh Raina
“I would say he is the next MS Dhoni for the Indian cricket team,” Raina had said earlier. “I have seen him, he is calm, he likes to listen, he likes to give confidence to the players and on top of that, he likes to lead from the front. When the captain leads from the front and at the same time, he gives respect to the dressing room atmosphere, you know you have it all.
Meanwhile, Rohit has looked in emphatic touch in the World Cup and the Indian skipper will want to continue his good form against Bangladesh. The right-handed batter stroked an excellent century against Afghanistan. He then backed his century with a blazing fifty against the arch-rivals Pakistan at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium.
The Men in Blue have defeated the likes of Australia, Afghanistan and Pakistan so far. Rohit Sharma and Co. will be eyeing their fourth consecutive win of the competition in the upcoming IND vs BAN World Cup match in Pune.
