Pakistan skipper Babar Azam on October 15 (Saturday) celebrated his 29th birthday. Despite failing to win against the arch-rivals India, Babar got warm wishes from the cricketing fraternity. In one of the heartwarming video that is going viral on the social media, Helena, daughter of pacer Hasan Ali gave Babar a special gift on his b’day.

In the video, Helena can be seen eagerly standing outside Babar’s hotel room with a bouquet of flowers in hand. After seeing Babar, the kid wishes Babar as the Pakistani skipper gave a warm, affectionate hug to Helena. The video of the duo is going viral on the social media platforms.

In the highly anticipated clash between Pakistan and India during the ODI World Cup 2023 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, Pakistan endured a disheartening seven-wicket loss, extending their losing streak against India to 8-0 in ODI World Cups.

Pakistan batted first after losing the toss but managed just 191 runs in 42.5 overs, with Babar Azam as their top scorer with 50 runs. Indian bowlers, including Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja, secured two wickets each. India chased down the target in 30.3 overs, with Rohit Sharma’s commanding 86 runs and Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 53.

After their loss against India, the Men in Green under the leadership of Babar Azam will face Australia next. The PAK vs AUS match will be played at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match will be played on October 20 (Friday). Babar Azam and Co. will be looking to make a comeback against a strong-looking Aussie side in the World Cup.
