World Cup 2023: After being hit right, left, and center, Indian vice-captain Hardik Pandya decided to turn to God to change his fortune in the IND vs PAK match. Pandya was agitated with himself after giving away 23 runs in just 2.2 overs, having been hit for four boundaries in the space of 14 balls.
The pacer then decided to vent his frustration with himself by putting his head down and praying to God to get him a wicket.
To everyone’s surprise, including Hardik Pandya, the right-hander claimed the wicket off Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq on the very next ball.
After sending Imam back into the pavillion for just 36, Pandya has put India in prime position, with Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav trying to rock Pakistan’s boat in the middle overs.
