The new addition in Fab 5, Pakistan skipper managed some applauds from the Indian crowd with a sublime straight drive against Shardul Thakur that would remind fans of the great Sachin Tendulkar during IND vs PAK (India vs Pakistan) ICC ODI World Cup clash. And the God of Cricket who was in the commentary box was delighted with the shot.
And even the great Sachin Tendulkar could not stay silent. When Waqar Younis asked Tendulkar how he felt about the shot, Tendulkar heaped praise on Babar Azam.
“Perfectly balanced shot! He has equal focus on the bottom hand and made room to execute the shot well,” Sachin tendulkar said during commentary.
