IND vs PAK Practice Highlights: Gill in groove, Pakistan ready for spin test

India is on a hot streak, demolishing Australia and Afghanistan before the Pakistan clash on October 14.

Ahead of the blockbuster IND vs PAK World Cup 2023 clash on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the Indian Cricket Team concluded their final training session ahead of the ‘biggest clash’ of the tournament.

A 3-hour evening/night training session was conducted by Team India on Friday before the all-important clash. Before the Men in Blue hit the nets, Rohit Sharma held a pre-match conference and gave important update on Shubman Gill’s fitness.

The Indian opener batted in the nets for an hour and faced Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Shami. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma said that Gill is 99% fit to feature in IND vs PAK.

Meanwhile, Pakistan team focused on countering spin in their final session. Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan and others faced local spinners and brushed on their sweeps and reverse-sweeps.
