The roar “Kohli, Kohli” was deafening as King Kohli came to the crease during IND vs AFG (India vs Afghanistan) ODI World Cup clash at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. But it was Rohit Sharma who stole the show with a swashbuckling century.
After Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan set the stage with a 136-run opening stand, Virat Kohli finished the job with Shreyas Iyer. Kohli did not disappoint his home fans. He scored his 68th ODI half-century. It was also his third consecutive half-century. After scoring 56 against Australia in Rajkot, he played a match-winning 85 against Australia in the first World Cup game. He remained unbeaten on 55 against Afghanistan.
