Talking about the PAK vs SL match, Sadeera Samarawickrama’s century and a stunning Kusal Mendis hundred helped Sri Lanka record a significant total of 344/9 in their first innings.

And when Babar Azam departed in the eighth over of the reply with the score at just 37/2, the Lankans appeared to be on top vs Pakistan.

However, Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique centuries laid the groundwork with a 176-run third-wicket standoff and sealed their outstanding six-wicket victory with 10 balls remaining.

Pakistan’s next assignment is in Ahmedabad at Narendra Modi Stadium where they will clash with their arch-rivals India on October 14 (IND vs PAK).
