A leg ailment has kept the Argentinian from playing for almost a month. However, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner won’t be dropped into the deep end; instead, he will gradually regain match fitness.
In preparation for the crucial MLS match, Messi has rejoined his teammates in training. If the former Barcelona great participates, it will mark his first time playing for the Herons since he appeared for 37 minutes against FC Toronto on September 21.
