Jermall Charlo to Fight Canelo Alvarez After His Kids Face Bullying Post Jermell’s Loss
Jermall Charlo gives a unique reason to fight Canelo Alvarez
Jermall Charlo recently went on an Instagram livestream while out with his family. And Michael Benson from Talksport was quick to catch on to the video. Benson then shared the video on X. In the video, we see Charlo explain the aftermath of his brother’s loss.
Jermall starts by saying, “my kids hating to go to school right now because… they don’t want to go to school because everybody keep trying to bully them their uncle lost.” While this was a light-hearted comment, Charlo then explained that it’s just a boxing fight, and it’s not that deep.
However, the American then raised a few eyebrows when he ended the live stream by saying, “Canelo, what’s up my n****a. You feel me? I’ll see you soon.” This suggests that Charlo wants to fight Alvarez in the future. And while the comment does not confirm his interest, Jermall has spoken about Canelo in the past.
However this may surprise a few fans. The Charlo brothers have not shared the best of relationships recently. Before the Alvarez fight, Jermell opened up about his relationship with his brother and claimed he didn’t care if Jermall attended the fight or not. Therefore, for Jermall to take the Canelo Alvarez fight to avenge his brother’s loss might surprise a few.
Despite Jermell’s comments, Jermall attended the fight and even praised his brother’s performance. Therefore, it may not be as deep as Jermell made it out to be.
So what do you make of Jermall Charlo’s comments? Do you think he will face Canelo Alvarez and exact revenge for his brother?
