1. Congratulations on qualifying for the semifinals of BGIS 2023! How would you define the challenges and experiences you faced during round 4 matches?
It was a very challenging and exciting experience for us to make it to the semifinals of BGIS 2023. We faced some of the best teams in the country and had to adapt to different maps, zones, and situations. We learned a lot from our mistakes and wins, and we improved our communication and coordination as a team. We also had a lot of fun and enjoyed the thrill of the game.
2. Every team has its strengths and areas for improvement. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a team?
We are a strong team and have been working well and growing as a unit together for some time now. Our strengths are our versatility, collaboration, and aggression. We have learned to adapt to any maps, weapons, or scenarios while pushing enemies back. As a team, we do have to combat impatience, or inconsistency wherein we don’t repeat mistakes that cost us the game. We are learning to plan together, continue to practice, and strategize more to get better day on day.
3. What key takeaways from the previous phases have you implemented into your team’s strategies for the upcoming matches in BGIS 2023?
Previous tournaments have been a great learning experience for us and helped us push our boundaries. Tournaments such as BGIS which gives us a chance to compete against other leading teams are a real test of our skill and mettle. The experience has taught us to be more flexible and cautious but has also helped us instill more confidence in our own abilities. We have learned how to quickly adjust our strategy and gameplay according to the map, zone, loot and enemies. We also learned the importance of not taking unnecessary risks while still striking a balance and trusting our instincts.
4. How does the team deal with last-minute fights? Do you change the strategy?
Last-minute fights are a crucial and intense element in BGMI, which can make or break the game. The key is to not scramble and rather to stay calm and coordinated in order to emerge victorious. To get ahead, we usually try to keep track of the remaining teams, players, and positions while playing. We also actively look for the best covers and angles while timing our attacks. We do change our strategy depending on the situation, such as whether we have to move or defend, whether we have high ground or low ground, and whether we have more or fewer players than the enemy. Practicing together has helped us get better at these last-minute flights and helped us anticipate scenarios better over time
