Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund? Di Marzio opens up on Manchester United forward’s rift with Ten Hag

With Jadon Sancho vs Erik Ten Hag ongoing, Manchester United can sell Sancho to Borussia Dortmund, Di Marzio reveals all details.

Jadon Sancho vs Erik Ten Hag continues and it is highly likely that the English winger will look for a way out from Manchester United in the winter transfer market. With other clubs monitoring this situation, it remains to be seen if Borussia Dortmund continues to become the likelihood destination for Sancho. In an exclusive conversation with Transfer guru Gianluca DiMarzio, we here at InsideSport continue to venture as to what can be the next destination for Jadon Sancho.

The 23-year-old English winger continues his beef with the Red Devils gaffer and is unwilling to apologize for his explosive statements on social media. What did Erik Ten Hag do? He simply suspended the player and refused any first-team activities. Sancho has been spotted a couple of times watching Manchester United’s U18 team as his exile continues.

While Sancho remains firm on his beliefs, the easiest of the options for Ten Hag will be to let the player leave the club. With Sancho’s contract expiring in the summer of 2026 and a clause to extend for a further year, it is ideal for the Red Devils boss to cash in on the player while the sun still shines.

When questioned Gianluca Di Marzio about the future destination of Sancho, here is what the Italian Transfer expert had to say. “I think this is the easiest solution, to move back to Dortmund, because if you are in a difficult situation at your club it’s better for you to come back to a club that is like a family and a place where you know everyone.”

“But in Italy we would say that the past should stay the past and I think he can find another solution. If he comes back to Dortmund, it’s very likely that it would be seen as he can only play there.”

“So, it depends on what he wants to do with his career. If he wants to start a new era, he could find a new club regardless of whether it will be in Italy, England, Spain or even Germany,” Di Marzio told InsideSport.

It is no surprise that Jadon Sancho saw exponential growth in his early career after he joined the German side from Manchester City. During his 4 year spell with Dortmund, Sancho bagged 38 goals from 104 appearances. While Manchester United spilled a huge amount of cash for the youngster, Sancho was never able to replicate the same performances that he did in front of the Yellow Wall.

“Dortmund is a comfort zone for him and the situation he is in but he needs to solve his problems because Man United spent a lot of money on him. It depends on what he and his agent wants with his life but it also depends on Manchester United. They need to decide if they want to sell him or loan him out.”

“Man United´s decision on not letting him train with the first team is very unusual and it´s very serious. I think it would be better for him to find a new club in January. It would be a good thing for him to try something new and kind of restart to find himself again,” concluded Di Marzio.
