Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), a popular battle royale game, is set to release its 2.8 update with its amazing modes and features, including the new exciting zombie mode. Krafton announced that the BGMI 2.8 Update Release Date is set to 10 October 2023. Check out the features and more below.
BGMI 2.8 Update Release Date
The highly anticipated BGMI 2.8 update is scheduled to be released on 10 October 2023. In the update, a lot of new features will be added to the game, like zombie mode, and players will be able to use some superpower abilities in the game similar to the current Dragon Ball Super mode, as well as some bugs that will be fixed in the upcoming update.
Zombie Mode
A new zombie mode will be added to the BGMI once the update is launched. The zombie mode will be a theme mode in Erangel. There are two points of interest in the mode: one is Aerolith Lab, and the second is Zombie Outpost.
In Aerolith Lab, players get to see a giant zombie boss. If players eliminate the zombie boss, they’ll get a good amount of loot in reward, including the two new powers that players can use to climb apartments and dash in the air. Of course, there are enemies too, so be careful when you go into Aerolith Lab.
In the Zombie Outpost, players will get to see two types of zombies. The Mutant Burzerker and the Mutant Destroyer, both zombies, will give you different types of powers in loot after you eliminate them.
How to update BGMI to version 2.8
Once the BGMI 2.8 update is released, you can update your game to the latest version by following these steps:
- Open the BGMI app.
- Tap on the “Updates” button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the “Download” button to download the update.
- Once the update is downloaded, tap on the “Install” button to install it.
Once the update is installed, you will be able to enjoy all of the new features and content that it has to offer.
