Who is Grace Hayden? Matthew Hayden’s daughter to make World Cup TV debut in India

Grace Hayden recently made a visit to India as she enjoyed her time on Chennai beaches. She is now part of the Star Sports panel for World Cup.

Grace Hayden, daughter of former Australian opener Matthew Hayden is set to be a part of the World Cup. The presenter is a part of the official broadcasting team of the World Cup. She was also present during the last concluded edition of the World Cup. Meanwhile, the mega event is set to start on October 5 with the defending champions England facing New Zealand in the opening encounter of the WC.

As mentioned above, Grace had earlier made a visit to India during the IPL. She visited some beaches in Chennai and said that she finally understood why his father loved India so much. “That was so much fun, I had the best time and I totally understand why my dad loves this country so much,” she said after her experience.

Apart from Grace, the likes of Jatin Sapru, Mayanti Langer, Tanay Tiwari, Suren S, Nashpreet Kaur, Raunak Kapoor and Neroli Meadows will also be the presenters during the mega cricketing event. Earlier, Star Sports announced an illustrious panel of commentators who will take the viewers on an exciting journey through crickets biggest and most prestigious event.

Elite commentators panel announced for World Cup

Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting and former England skipper Eoin Morgan will join the coverage. They will be supported by other World Cup winners Shane Watson, Lisa Sthalekar, Ramiz Raja, Ravi Shastri, Aaron Finch, Sunil Gavaskar and Matthew Hayden. The commentary box will mark the return of Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith and Ian Bishop, who called the memorable 2019 World Cup final between England and New Zealand.

More international icons and former captains including Waqar Younis, Shaun Pollock, Anjum Chopra and Michael Atherton will also be calling the action live from the commentary box.

They will be joined in on the fun by former international stars like Simon Doull, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Sanjay Manjrekar, Katey Martin, Dinesh Karthik, Dirk Nannes, Samuel Badree, Athar Ali Khan and Russel Arnold. The panel will be rounded off some of the leading broadcasters in the world who have had their fair share of iconic calls, including Harsha Bhogle, Kass Naidoo, Mark Nicholas, Natalie Germanos, Mark Howard and Ian Ward.
