Hasan Ali reveals his Indian wife Samiya Arzoo ‘keeps talking’ about Delhi Food

Hasan Ali expresses his displeasure over not getting to visit his wife Samiya Arzoo's hometown Delhi during the World Cup

Hasan Ali’s wife Samiya Arzoo is a Indian-origin and always raves about the variety, & quality of street food in Delhi. Hasan and Samiya got married five years ago, but this is the first time the Pakistani pacer has visited India for the World Cup. However, due to his sheer disappointment, Hasan won’t be playing any matches in Delhi, and his dream of relishing street food in Delhi is diminished.

To note, Pakistan will play all their World Cup matches across five venues, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, & Kolkata. “I have been married for five years, and my wife talks about Delhi and its street food. I really wanted to travel to Delhi and try the food, but unfortunately, it won’t be possible,” Hasan said to Cricbuzz.

For the uninitiated, the Pakistani pacer was not originally selected in the provisional squad for the World Cup. Hasan came as a last-minute replacement for Naseem Shah. This is also the first time Hasan has traveled to India for the World Cup.

Pakistan will play one warm-up game against Australia on Tuesday (October 3). Babar Azam & Co would be aiming to put on a much better display with bat and ball in hand. After the game against Australia, the Men in Green will begin their WC campaign against Netherlands on October 6.
