Will real Hardik Pandya please stand up? Guwahati Hotel makes hilarious goof-up

The Radisson Blu Guwahati is currently hosting the Indian cricket team while they are in town for a warm-up game vs England.

Prior to the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, the Radisson Blu hotel brand has made a hilarious mistake when sending check-in emails to the India delegation. This goof-up involves India vice-captain Hardik Pandya.

The Radisson Blu Guwahati is currently hosting the Indian cricket team while they are in town for a September 30 warm-up game vs England.

Radisson Blu sent a check-in email to the incorrect Hardik Pandya before the team was set to check into the opulent hotel on September 28. It turns out that the India all-rounder shares his name with Unacademy’s Senior Vice President of Design, who also received the check-in email on his behalf.

Unacademy staffer Hardik Pandya, not cricketer Hardik Pandya, uploaded a screenshot of the email that was delivered in error. In his tweet uploaded on X (previously Twitter), he stated, ““I have no plans to fly to Guwahati tomorrow. Turns out it’s a room booked for @hardikpandya7 for the #ICCWorldCup warm-up match in Guwahati.”

“You just doxed his location,” one person said. This is crazy. Another person questioned, “Did they mix up your emails? Pandya referred to the mix-up as a hotel fault.

On Saturday, September 30, India will play England in a pregame match in Guwahati, Assam.

After a 12-year absence, the Cricket World Cup is coming back to India. On October 8 in Chennai, India will play host to the tournament against the five-time defending champions, Australia. In the key World Cup match, it will meet Pakistan on October 14 in Ahmedabad, and on October 29, it will face England in Lucknow.

Hardik Pandya: The Key in India Squad

As the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 approaches at home, India has been in excellent form, and the hosts won’t settle for anything less than a third CWC title in their trophy cabinet now that its main players have recovered from injuries and are prepared to compete.

In the run-up to the World Cup, India has all the checkmarks in their favor. Due to a great group of batters that expertly blend experience with swagger, they have one of the strongest batting line-ups in the game.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill form one of the best opening combinations in international cricket today. They are followed by a potent middle order that consists of KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, all-rounders Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya, as well as all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya. In addition to them, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav make up this top hitting trio.
