Team India ODI World Cup Warm-Up Schedule, Timings, Squads & Other Details

Team India led by Rohit Sharma will begin their World Cup warm up games on October 2. India will first play England in WC warm up game

After the conclusion of the Australia series, team India will now gear up for the home World Cup. But before that, Rohit Sharma & Co will play warm-up matches starting from September 30. India will play two warm-up matches against England and Netherlands. These matches will give India a chance to fix combinations, strategies, and other issues.

While India won a 2-1 ODI series against Australia, there are some things India needs to work on. First up is the Feilding, which has looked very lackluster. Another major worry for India is its long tail. Also, another issue is the fitness of Axar Patel. The squad deadline is today, and the southpaw is racing against time to be fit for the World Cup.

In Axar’s absence, Ashwin did well against Australia, but if the southpaw is fit for the WC, then will India still go with Ashwin remains the question. These two warm-up games will give India a chance to play their strongest playing XI. Let’s look at the schedule of India’s WC warm-up matches.
