Records were shattered as the Nepal team created history in the ongoing Men’s Asian Games cricket. Mongolia were the sufferer as Nepal batters broke Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma’s records at the same time. Dipendra Singh scored the fastest ever T20I fifty off just 9 balls, bettering Yuvraj Singh’s previous T20I record off 12 balls achieved in the 2007 T20 World Cup against England. He also smashed nine sixes.
Kushal Malla scored the fastest ever T20I hundred: 34 balls, bettering Rohit Sharma’s 35 balls T20I ton. Malla spanked 12 sixes and 8 fours.
Nepal also went on to score a whopping total of 300 in their allotted 20 overs, thus becoming the first-ever team to register 300 in the shortest format of the game. Nepal posted 314, losing just three wickets. Malla remained unbeaten on 137 off just 50 balls, while Dipendra Singh remained not out, scoring 52 off just 10 balls.
Mongolia bowlers just could not stop the carnage, as the two Nepali batters did not show any kind of mercy.

Nepal Cricket Team: Dipendra Singh, & Kushal Malla make merry, as Mongolia suffers 273 runs loss
Mongolia bowlers had very little to celebrate after winning the toss and putting Nepal in. The only success Mongolia bowlers had were two early wickets of Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh. After that, it was carnage from Dipendra, skipper Rohit Paudel, and Kushal Malla. This is the first match of the Men’s Asian Games, and Nepal have already stated sorts.
In the batting also Mongolia could only post 41. Nepal registered a 273-run victory; the biggest ever in a T20I game.
After the disappointment in the Asia Cup, Nepal were keen to start well in the Asian Games. With this thumping performance, Nepal has given a loud and bold message that they won’t be pushovers.
