After yesterday’s match against Burnley, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was involved in a horrific vehicle accident. Before the collision, the striker had just driven out from United’s Carrington base in his $700,000 Rolls-Royce.
From Turf Moor, Rashford and his teammates had taken a team bus back. Rashford is said to have crashed his Rolls Royce while leaving the team’s Carrington training facility. Social media videos appeared to show Rashford’s car to have a significant ding in the side. According to the pictures, the car might have hit a nearby traffic island quickly.
Rashford’s severely dented car was visible on the side of the road in footage of the incident. Only a few metres away, a pole on a traffic island was fallen. Rashford was rattled up but is otherwise unharmed.
Although it’s believed that police were called to the site, neither an ambulance nor any arrests were necessary. On his way out of Carrington, Bruno Fernandes allegedly came across the scene and stopped to assist.
Photos taken today in the region show barriers and traffic cones encircling a traffic island covered in trash. Rashford and United haven’t yet made any public remarks about the predicament. With a magnificent Fernandes goal, Rashford and his Man Utd teammates had just defeated Burnley 1-0.
