Cricket fans witnessed a heart-warming moment during BAN vs NZ 2nd ODI on Saturday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Bangladesh skipper Litton Das displayed sportsman spirit as he called back New Zealand’s spinner Ish Sodhi after the latter got run-out at non-striker’s end.
The incident happened in the 46th over of New Zealand’s innings. Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud took off the bails at the non-striker’s end as Sodhi was backing too much. While the third umpire gave him out, skipper Litton Das, after a brief chat with on-field umpires, called Sodhi back.
