Big changes made by Adidas to the India World Cup jersey
In a video promo released by Adidas on their social media platforms, a big change in the Indian jersey can be seen.
- Instead of three white stripes on the shoulder, the new jersey for the World Cup will have Indian tricolor stripes on the shoulders of every player.
- Fans had criticised Adidas for printing Team India’s lead sponsor, Dream11, in a font that made the sponsor’s logo larger than the country’s name itself.
- As per ICC guidelines, teams are not allowed to use their main sponsor’s logo at the front of the their official jersey for ICC events.
- Instead, the Dream11 logo will be printed on the arm instead of the front of the official World Cup jersey.
