Afghanistan’s Brahmastra Rashid Khan took to social media to share an image of him with two of the biggest Bollywood superstars and power couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Rashid met up with the actors in New York after he and Afghanistan were knocked out of the Asia Cup 2023 in the group stage.

Ranbir and Alia have been on vacation for a while and were even seen at the US Open 2023 prior to their meet-up with Rashid.
The leg-spinner decided to go to New York after Afghanistan suffered a crushing 2-run loss at the hands of Sri Lanka in the 6th match of the Asia Cup and was therefore eliminated.

Rashid Khan was not at his best with the ball in the ODI Asia Cup. In Afghanistan’s first game against Bangladesh, he failed to pick up a wicket and conceded 66 runs.
In the second match of the group stage, Rashid managed to scalp two wickets but once again gave over 60 runs.
Rashid will return to India in late September to take part in the warm-up games ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023.
