Jadon Sancho is made to train separately from the rest of the Manchester United group. This follows his social media rant at head coach Erik ten Hag.
“Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue,” a statement from the club read.
In response to Ten Hag’s remarks, the England international claimed he was being exploited as a “scapegoat.” The winger was left out of United’s matchday squad for their pre-international break loss to Arsenal. Ten Hag acknowledged after the game that Sancho’s removal was due to not fulfilling the required criteria in training.

Within hours, the former Borussia Dortmund player addressed fans personally on social media. He warned them not to “believe everything they hear,” and revealed that he is tired of being used as a “scapegoat.” Sancho has already deleted his social media posts, but he is still facing disciplinary action from the club. He has been assigned to an individual training course.
