Wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul has been out of the action since IPL 2023 and has been undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA Bangalore. Despite being named for the ongoing Asia Cup, the right-handed batter did not travel with the team to Sri Lanka and continued his rehab at Bangalore. As mentioned above, KL Rahul visited a temple in Bengaluru. After Shravan on Saturday, Rahul, accompanied by his wife Athiya Shetty, sought the blessings of Ghati Subrahmanya. The couple visited the Ghati Subramanya temple located in Doddaballapur in Bengaluru and offered their prayers to the deity. During their visit, the star couple was honoured with shawls. Saints in the temple also gave a brief history to the duo about the temple.
Meanwhile, BCCI chief selector, Ajit Agarkar informed that Rahul is nursing a niggle and he is expected to be fit in some time and would play in the later stages of the Asia Cup.
