India U23 Football Team Head Coach Clifford Miranda announced a 23-member squad for the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024 Qualifiers to be held in Dalian, China from September 6-12, 2023. India, seeking their maiden qualification to the AFC U23 Asian Cup, will face Maldives (September 6), hosts China PR (September 9) and United Arab Emirates (September 12) in Group G.

The 11 group winners and four best second-placed teams will qualify for the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024, which also serves as the qualifier for the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Paris 2024.
The U23 Asian Cup, which will take place in Qatar in 2024, will be used to qualify teams for the men’s football competition in the Paris Olympics in 2024. The Asian Cup will be attended by the eleven group winners and the four best runner-up teams from each group. India has never made it into the main draw of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup. On September 6, the India U23 Football team will play its first qualifying match against the Maldives.
