Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 aka BGIS 2023 is ongoing where teams from all over India participate for a massive prize pool of 2 crore INR. The stream of the round 1 matches started yesterday. In a recent announcement, Krafton revealed that they will host India-Korea friendly matches where the top 8 teams of BGIS 2023 will be part of it. KRAFTON is hosting a friendly India-Korea Invitational Match wherein BGMI will be played by 8 winning teams from BGIS and 8 Esports teams from South Korea.

BGIS (BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES) is a grassroots-level tournament for amateurs and professionals and one of the biggest Esports tournaments in Southeast Asia. The invitational series, ‘The Grind,’ received 33 million views. The offline LAN finale with a live audience is set to take place on the 12, 13th, and 14th of October in Mumbai. KRAFTON has also partnered with JioCinema for broadcasting BGIS. BGIS features a prize pool of INR 2 crore with the winning team set to win INR 75 lakhs. BGMI is helping tournament organizers to scale.
