John Cena appears to be making a big WWE comeback on this weekend’s SmackDown and is expected to remain active for the next few weeks. Meanwhile, the 16-time WWE Word champion will also fly down to India in between.
It is already confirmed that Cena will appear in the SmackDown episode on September 1 in Pennsylvania. He will then visit India for Super Star Spectacle 2023 and team up with Seth Rollins to go against Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
Following that, John Cena will keep appearing in WWE SmackDown episodes. Here’s a list of events that Cena has already been declared to be a part of :

46-year-old John Cena has carried WWE on his back for several years. He is not very active currently and makes his in-ring appearances after long time hiatuses. That said, Cena is still one of the biggest superstars in the promotion.
His absence from WWE was clearly felt as the wrestling world is on a buzz with news of his comeback. On the upcoming SmackDown episode, John Cena is expected to tribute Bray Wyatt and possibly begin a new feud.

John Cena: Who Will Be His Next Opponent?
WWE has announced no opponent for John Cena’s SmackDown episodes. Meanwhile, the 16-time WWE champion is already scheduled for a tag team contest on his India tour. Hence, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser are officially the next opponents of John Cena and Seth Rollins.
John Cena will come to India for the first time where he has a very strong fanbase. Upon winning the tag team contest, the US superstar can come across any fresh opponent for his future WWE journey. That said, it’s still unknown who will welcome Cena to full-time WWE again.
