How Much Money Oleksandr Usyk Racked With His KO win against  Daniel Dubois

Oleksandr Usyk’s ninth-round knockout of Daniel Dubois secured his grasp on WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles. Amidst a contentious round-five incident, where a low blow was disputed as potentially knockout-worthy, online voices now argue for Dubois’ fair hit on the beltline. And apart from Usyk’s ring prowess, post-fight respect impresses and controversy, the earnings discussion lingers online.

According to Dan Rafael’s report, K2 Promotions, which is headed by Usyk, and Queensberry Promotions, which represents Dubois, both submitted bids. However, K2 Promotions outdid Queensberry Promotions by offering $8,057,000, while Queensberry Promotions bid $5,620,050.

As Usyk is considered the more prominent fighter in this match, he with this win will receive 75% of the purse bid, totaling $6,042,750. On the other hand, Dubois will take home $2,014,250, which is significantly less. While Usyk’s earnings for this fight did not match what he received for his bouts against Anthony Joshua, he had still made three times more than his opponent.

Moreover, both fighters will also receive a portion of the pay-per-view (PPV) sales, although the exact figures are not available. However, it can be assumed that Usyk’s victory will result in him earning over $7 million in total.

Even in the midst of the fight’s controversy, both contenders are poised to pocket substantial earnings, while the champion secures a guaranteed $6 million. The spotlight now shifts to the highly awaited showdown between Usyk and Fury.
