CSK skipper MS Dhoni led his team from the front during the IPL 2023 as they were crowned the champions for the fifth time in IPL history. Meanwhile, a video of Dhoni cutting a cake to celebrate CSK’s victory in going viral on the social media platforms. In the video, Dhoni can be seen inside a gym with his friends as he gives a cheeky remark while cutting the cake.

Dhoni in the video can be heard saying things like, “Kaun kaun khayega aur kaun kaun dieting par hai.” Also when someone asked that if the cake is vegetarian or contained eggs Dhoni replied, “Ande hai, bilkul hai.”
As stated above, Dhoni led the team as full-time captain again in the 2023 season after appointing Ravindra Jadeja as the captain last season. CSK failed to perform under Jadeja and Dhoni eventually took back the captaincy halfway through the tournament. Interestingly, when CSK needed 10 runs off the last 2 balls in the final this year, It was Sir Jadeja who hit a six and a four to take the team home.
It must be noted that Dhoni recently underwent a knee surgery after he helped CSK get its fifth IPL title. Post surgery, Dhoni has been captured frequently while driving his luxurious cars and sports bikes. Recently a video of Dhoni riding through Ranchi went super viral. In the clip, He was seen riding a sports bike while wearing a helmet and a camouflage jacket.
At the end of IPL 2023, Dhoni mentioned that he wants to play in the next season as well but will take the final decision after assessing his injury fully. Dhoni has fans all over India and whether CSK fans or not, everyone wants to see the champion player one more time on the field.
