Asian Games 2023 Cricket Timings, Squads, LIVE Streaming & Broadcasting Details

Both Men's and Women's team will play Asian Games 2023 cricket from the quarter-final round due to finishing higher on ICC T20I Rankings

After the conclusion of Asia Cup 2023 tournament, Asian Games will begin from September 19. Indian Cricket Team will take part in the Continental Games after nine years. Last time in 2018, both Men’s and Women’s teams were not part of the Asian Games held in Jakarta in 2018. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the participation of men’s and women’s teams in the Continental Games 2023 event.

Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead India as the first-choice players will be busy playing World Cup 2023. The second-string team will see the likes of Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube, Washinton Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Tilak Varma, and Ravi Bishnoi in the mix. Pacer Akash Deep has been added in the squad in place of Shivam Mavi who has been ruled out due to injury.

On the other hand, the women’s team will be a full-strength team led by Harmanpreet Kaur. Both men’s and women’s teams will directly play from the quarter-finals round of Asian Games, owing to finishing higher on the ICC T20I rankings.

In the women’s category, 14 teams will play 14 matches in total. For Men’s, 18 teams will compete in 18 matches. The teams will be seeded based on ICCT20i Ranking as of 1st June 2023.
