Following his victory at UFC 292, Ian Garry made a callout to Khamzat Chimaev during an interview. Garry expressed that he isn’t eager to face Chimaev immediately “I don’t wanna fight him right now” Garry said, pointing out that Chimaev plans to remain in the 185-pound weight category.

Garry also challenged the perception of Chimaev as a formidable opponent, saying, “Everyone thinks he’s a boogeyman…we’ll do it at 185 and we’ll see who the boogeyman is” Garry said, suggesting that they should meet in the 185-pound division to determine who truly holds that status.

The question of whether Garry will ultimately face Khamzat remains unanswered, given Garry’s recent impressive performance at UFC 292 and Khamzat’s upcoming bout against Paul O Costa at UFC 294. This fight promises to be incredibly exciting, so make sure not to miss any updates on these matchups.
