Oleksandr Usyk Boxing Losses: Who did Usyk lose to?

It is common knowledge that Usyk is undefeated in the professional game. The unified heavyweight champion has a perfect 20-0 record with 13 knockouts. However, he has tasted defeat several times in the amateur scene.

Before he became a professional, Usyk gained popularity for his incredible amateur record. The Ukrainian fought 350 times in the amateurs. Out of these 350 fights, Usyk won 335 and lost 15 times. Thus, while he has many wins, the unified champion also knows what it’s like to lose.

Despite losing 15 times in his amateur career, Usyk never suffered a knockout defeat. However, among his losses are defeats to some popular names like Artur Beterbiev and Shawn Porter. Usyk started his amateur career at middleweight and ended in the heavyweights. Therefore, his amateur days were quite the journey.

So there you have it. While his professional record is perfect, the Ukrainian has lost 15 times in the amateurs. However, given the way he performed against Anthony Joshua, it could be a while before Usyk loses again. Do you think Daniel Dubois has what it takes to beat Oleksandr Usyk?
