Fakhar Zaman was scalped by Fazalhaq Farooqi as Nabi completed the catch
Speaking about the dismissal, Farooqi bowled a fuller length delivery as Fakhar went for a big booming drive. However, he managed to get a thick edge which first went to the second slip as the ball burst through the fielder hands before Nabi went on to complete the catch. After the catch, Nabi seemed agitated with the fielder probably for not completing the catch by himself. However, it all ended well with the senior pro being active on the field.
Meanwhile, the Men in Green are in some trouble as they have lost two quick wickets with skipper Babar Azam being the second scalp. At present, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq are present at the crease for Pakistan.
As mentioned above, Babar earlier won the toss and opted to have a bat first. “We’ll bat first, the pitch looks a bit dry so it will be good to get some runs on the board. We just need to believe in ourselves and play with a clear mindset. We have our ideas locked in for the Asia Cup and the World Cup, but there are still a few youngsters we want to try, that’s why we have a squad of 18,” Babar said at the toss.
