Lionel Messi becoming the most decorated footballer of all time with 44 trophies has hit the headlines already. The Argentine surpassed former Brazil right-back and Barcelona teammate Dani Alves after winning the Leagues Cup with Inter Miami.
It was Messi’s first trophy in the United States. He marked the victory by winning both Player of the Tournament and Highest Goal Scorer trophies.
The trophies have followed the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner everywhere he went. Once again, Messi has proved he knows his way around trophies after providing Inter Miami with a rare success.
