We have 6 months. We will give you everything, every support to come back as a better team next year," said DC director Sourav Ganguly.

Director of Cricket of Delhi Capitals, Sourav Ganguly had an engaging session with youngsters including Yash Dhull and Khaleel Ahmed. Ganguly emphasized the fact that they played poor cricket throughout the competition and emphasized the fact that they need to make a strong comeback.

“It was a very very poor season, by any standards and I think we did not do well enough. So it’s important for us that we learn from that and come back as a better team. There is no harm in losing but the problem will be when we don’t improve and get better,” said Ganguly.

We have 6 months. We will give you everything, every support to come back as a better team next year. It’s not that we did everything right. We did wrong things, made mistakes, we lost, we got beaten. The only thing which can take you to the next level is working hard. Use all the time at training only to get better. We will use this time to get better,” Ganguly added.

Insidesport

As mentioned above, DC had a torrid time during the last concluded edition of the IPL. With their permanent skipper, Rishabh Pant missing, the Capitals failed to put on a consistent performer. However, the Capitals will be boosted by the return of their skipper Pant by next edition as they have already started gearing up for the next edition.
