As the conversation continued, Afridi proudly introduced his two daughters to Suniel Shetty, further highlighting the harmonious atmosphere of the encounter. To note, Afridi holds a strong fanbase in India as well, Recently he expressed his disappointment against BCCI for not sending the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023.
Earlier, Afridi slammed the Pakistan Cricket Board for omitting 1992 World Cup-winning captain Imran Khan in their promotional video uploaded on their Independence Day (August 14). “This is a great promotional campaign for CWC 2023 now. Services of our heroes in the cricket fraternity should never be impacted by any political stances,” Afridi posted, taking a swipe at the board for involving ‘politics’ in cricket.
Talking about Suniel Shetty, Anna will be seen sharing screen with his long-time friend Akshay Kumar. The makers have got an ensemble star cast of Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty for the comic movie. Suniel will also be seen in the Hera Pheri 3 slated to be released by 2025.
