Their second title came after a 12-year gap. This time, they beat Bangladesh in the final by the barest of margins (2 runs) and became the third team to win more than one title.
Their two titles are only bettered by India (6 titles) and Sri Lanka (5 titles).

India and Pakistan have met each other 14 times in ODI Asia Cup history. India leads the head-to-head 7-5 in these matches, with two games washed out.
India has an edge over Pakistan in the most recent Asia Cup, which was played in 2018. In the 12th ODI edition, India emerged in both of their encounters, once in the Group Stage and then in the Super Four.

The Men in Green have a win percentage of 59.09, winning 26 out of their 49 matches in the Asia Cup. They are once again behind the other two Asian giants, India and Sri Lanka.
Both India and Sri Lanka have sixteen losses each, while Pakistan has 18.
